We’ve said goodbye to a slew of popular TV shows in 2019. Over the past couple of months we’ve been forced to part with Game of Thrones, Veep, Jane the Virgin, Broad City, and Orange is the New Black. One series that didn’t receive as much fanfare as the aforementioned shows is Fox’s Gotham, which also bid farewell to the viewing public after five seasons.

Premiering in 2014, the Batman prequel followed the rise of Detective James Gordon (former O.C. star Ben McKenzie) in Gotham City in the years before the Caped Crusader arrived to thwart the devious machinations of the lowlifes of Gotham. Also starring Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Erin Richards, Morena Baccarin, and Sean Pertwee, the series was well-received by critics, earning a 78% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.
