Netflix Renews ‘Queer Eye’ for Seasons 4 and 5

As if this week wasn’t already fabulous enough for the Fab Five. First they’re chilling with Taylor Swift in a music video, and now Netflix has announced that they’re keeping their life-affirming/world-changing gigs for the foreseeable future! Netflix has not only renewed Queer Eye for Season 4, but also for Season 5! That’s two more seasons and (at least) 16 more makeovers coming our way–and they’re coming sooner than you think!

Queer Eye Season 4 will debut on Netflix on July 19, and will feature the second half of the Fab Five’s adventure through Kansas City. Season 3, which dropped in March, gave us our first taste of KC (as well as some tasty barbecue sauce).

As for Season 5, Netflix has revealed that production on the season will begin in Philadelphia on June 24. Fun fact: Philly is also the season of Real World that Karamo was on waaaay back in 2004. A release date for Season 5 has yet to be announced, but if the pattern continues it will likely hit sometime between February and March 2020.

There’s also the matter of the upcoming Queer Eye: We’re In Japan! mini-series. The Fab Five spent some time earlier this year filming in Japan, and we know that the season will consist of four episodes and feature the Fab Five taking in Japanese culture while meeting some Japanese heroes. A release date has not yet been given for Queer Eye: We’re In Japan!, but a spokesperson for the streaming service said it will arrive in the fall.

Queer Eye Season 4 hits Netflix on July 19.
