Calling all Bachelor fans! If you’re in the mood for a throwback now that Colton’s season has concluded, Tubi TV is about to become your favorite streaming service. Beginning April 1, the first season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, as well as The Bachelorette: Trista & Ryan’s Wedding special, will be available to stream on the free, ad-supported SVOD service. According to Variety, with this new addition, Tubi TV will become the exclusive streaming home of the original Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons — a major boon to the service’s library.
The first season of The Bachelor, which debuted way back in 2002, followed businessman Alex Michel on his love-filled journey. In a move that current Bachelor fans may recognize, Alex chose not to propose to winner Amanda Marsh at the end of the season; instead, he and Amanda began dating, but they broke up after about a year. Fingers crossed things turn out better for you, Colton.
When The Bachelorette debuted the following year, in 2003, Trista Rehn — the runner up on Alex’s season — knew exactly what not to do. She fell in love with Ryan Sutter, and the two were married in a televised special, The Bachelorette: Trista & Ryan’s Wedding, in December 2003. Trista and Ryan are one of the few Bachelor/ette couples who are still together, so if you’re in the mood to feel nostalgic for the franchise’s better days, Tubi is the place to be.
In addition to The Bachelor and The Bachelorette‘s first seasons, viewers will also be able to stream the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise on Tubi. With the addition of crazies Jordan, Jenna, and Krystal, Paradise Season 5 is one you won’t want to miss.
