If Superstore had superlatives, then Dina would definitely be Most Likely to Tell You to Stop Lip-Syncing and Get Back to Work. It’s a good thing that Lauren Ash doesn’t have that in common with her stern sitcom character, otherwise we’d be robbed of this truly amazing moment in Lip Sync Battle herstory.
Decider has an exclusive first look at this week’s choreographed throwdown, which pits Superstore leading man Ben Feldman against Ash in a lip-sync extravaganza–and it slays. In the clip above, Lauren Ash steps out in her Madonna pantsuit eleganza and cuts loose to the iconic song “Express Yourself.” The look is totally perfect, with Ash nailing every syllable of the 1989 anthem.
Superstore superfans might even feel a bit of deja vu watching the performance. That Madonna look kinda has the same vibe as Dina’s de facto Halloween costume. Dina rocks the Sexy Cop look every single October 31, even when she’s pregnant.
