Reality game shows can have a lasting impression on your life. Be it fame or money, what happens to contestants on TV can have a huge ripple effect. And when that reality show involves naked people and one couch, well, that lifelong after effect can actually be a brand new life.

Yep, the contestants on Bravo’s new reality series Stripped have a kid now, and it’s totally because of their time of TV. The show follows a simple premise: a couple have to life their normal life, including going to work, for 21 days with no money or possessions. Every day they’re allowed to ask for one item back, which can include clothes, thus forcing them to really prioritize what they need in life. Also, no shocker considering the show’s title, they make those decisions while naked.

The debut episode featured couple Justin and Ali, an admittedly materialistic couple who went on the show to gain a new perspective and discuss starting a family. The first item they asked for during the experiment was a couch, and that ended up being a life-changing decision. Because they totally conceived a child on that couch during the 21 days.

Ali, who is now six months pregnant, did the math and figured out that they created a new life during their back-to-basics phase. Happy news for the couple, and it makes that episode of Stripped a very personal, potentially uncomfortable memento for one soon-to-be-born kid.

Stripped airs on Bravo on Tuesday nights.
