Netflix has revealed what genres of entertainment we’re streaming at different times throughout the day by tracking subscriber viewing patterns. New viewership data suggests we are 34% more likely to view comedies in the morning around breakfast time and 27% more likely to watch thrillers after 9 PM than any other time.

The streaming giant also claims that viewers are 5% more likely to watch dramas during lunchtime and 24% more likely to watch documentaries and docuseries like Making a Murderer and The Keepers between midnight and 6 AM. That must be when our at-home detectives are awake. The streaming data presented was collected over six months and accounts to roughly 77 million accounts per month from countries around the world.
