Decider’s Guide to Streaming Bundles: Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, DirecTV Now, YouTube TV or Hulu Live TV?

Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, DirecTV Now, YouTube TV and Hulu offer broadcast, cable and premium channels from satellite and cable providers with the same streaming delivery as services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Base plans for the different services offer smaller channel lineups than typical satellite or cable service but at roughly one-third the cost.
Here are the channel lineups for the leading streaming bundles:


The services are available on numerous platforms:

  • Sling TV is available for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Xbox One, iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • PlayStation Vue is available for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, PlayStation 3 and 4, iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • DirecTV Now is available for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • YouTube TV is available for Google Chromecast, iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • Hulu is available for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Xbox One, iPhone, iPad and Android.
