Last night, after a Real Housewives of New York City episode that finally gave us Dorinda Medley’s “NOT WELL, BITCH!” moment that we’ve been waiting for since the trailer debuted, Dorinda joined HBO’s John Oliver on Watch What Happens Live to discuss the episode that just aired. Host Andy Cohen prodded Oliver for his thoughts on both the Housewives and current events (the same thing if you ask me), and Oliver delivered some good zingers. In particular, his description of Ivanka Trump as someone who “kind of lulls you into the Sunken Place.”

But things got really interesting when the topic of conversation turned to Dorinda’s nemesis Sonja Morgan. During the episode, in the midst of a massive argument, Dorinda burned Sonja for being an “advisor” to Donald Trump. Sonja explained to the home audience that she was once a brand consultant for Trump’s hotels in the 1980s, leading to this priceless photo of the two giants of 2017 culture standing together:

Dorinda’s comment brings up a lot of eye-opening history between Sonja and Trump that the show didn’t even get into. Such as Sonja’s role in the sexual harrassment claims that businesswoman Lisa Boyne brought up against Trump before the election last fall. According to Boyne, Sonja and Trump picked her up for a dinner in New York City, whereupon Trump requested that the models in attendance walk across the table so he could peer up their skirts. When contacted back in October about her recollection of the events, Sonja’s comment was, “I don’t remember any of that kind of behavior, but I have been known to dance on tables.”

Also on last night’s Housewives episode, Carole Radziwill disinvited Ramona Singer from her election-night party, though it wasn’t because “Ramona’s voting for Trump” (in fact Ramona stated her intention not to vote at all), but because Ramona was inclined to spout off without being very well informed on the issues.
