Final Shots: Former MLB Slugger Prince Fielder To Host Cooking Show For Netflix, Hulu

Prince Fielder, the former Texas Ranger whose baseball career came to an abrupt end six months ago after a career-ending injury, will soon rebrand as a television cooking personality for Netflix and Hulu. The brand new SVOD original series, titled Fielder’s Choice, will premiere sometime in March.

“It’s not just baseball people,” Fielder stated during a recent interview with ESPN. “It’s a mixture of baseball people, actors, musicians, chefs and whatnot. They bring out different dishes, and at the end of the show, I give the one I like the most the “Fielder’s choice.” It’s good TV.” The now retired MLB slugger had always hoped to explore this concept post-retirement, which unfortunately (or fortunately for that matter) came a bit early.
