If you were a fan of Arrested Development, particularly the Netflix-helmed fourth season reboot, you’ll immediately recognize Maria Bamford as the once Fantastic Four’s Sue Storm (in the show’s faux original), aka Tobias Fünke’s (David Cross) love interest Debrie Bardeaux. If not, you’ll soon get to know the hilarious actress in her new starring role as Lady Dynamite, a brand new star-studded Netflix original series brought to you by Pam Brady and Arrested Development’s Mitch Hurwitz. According to Deadline, the series is based around Bamford’s perception of her own life, displaying a character who essentially loses her sh*t before picking up the pieces. The trailer features Sarah Silverman, Jason Mantzoukas, Kathryn Hahn, and a bunch of other exciting cameos. All episodes will premiere on May 20th.
