Were you one of the few people who missed American Sniper when it was theaters? Well, today is your lucky day because Clint Eastwood‘s critically-acclaimed (and still controversial) film is now available for rental on digital platforms such as Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, MGo, Vudu, and Google Play. The film has been available for purchase on VOD for a few weeks, but if you’ve been reluctant to pony up $19.99 to own the film on HD, then now’s your chance to rent it for a much lower fee.

American Sniper tells the real-life story of United States Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. His uncanny talent as a sharpshooter earned him the dubious honor of being the most deadly sniper in American history. Bradley Cooper received his third Academy Award nomination for his performance and Sienna Miller jumpstarted her career by playing Kyle’s wife, Taya. The film was also a hit at the box office and is the highest grossing release of 2014.

Even if you’ve already seen the film, American Sniper is the perfect viewing choice for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. However, if you choose to rent American Sniper this weekend, please note that you only have a limited window to watch the film…because that’s how rentals work.
